LIBRARY SERVICES

How to obtain a
Library Card

Library cards are FREE!
Please bring your drivers license, or picture identification with documentation of your current address, to the Adult or Children's circulation desk.
Children under 16 years of age must have a parent present to sign the card.
Your library card can be used in ANY county within Wyoming.

Computers

Computers with internet access, word processors, and reference computers are all available. Printing costs 10 cents per page.

Online Card Catalog

Click here to search statewide databases.

Videos/DVDs

Videos and DVDs are loaned for 3 days. They are not renewable, and there is a limit of 2 videos and 2 DVDs per library card.
Each library houses approximately 2000 items, and if you still don't see what you want, they may be borrowed from the Branch Libraries or through state-wide Interlibrary Loan.

CD-ROMs

Fun games and educational material for kids, and a wide range of reference and how-to's for the grownups. Most are available for borrowing, but several are loaded on the Public Use Computer in the Adult and Children's Departments, for access while in the library. CD-ROMs are loaned for 3 days.

Music CDs

A wide and varied collection of music CDs can be found in all three locations.

Newspapers/
Magazines
The libraries offer a wide variety of periodicals. Current issues are available for use in the library, and older issues may be checked out.

Honor Books

Many paperbacks are given to the library and are made available to our patrons as HONOR BOOKS. They have no due date, and are expected back when you have finished reading the book.

Books on Tape/CD

All three libraries have a wide selection of books on tape and books on CD. Great idea for those long road trips.

Interlibrary Loan

Any patron with a valid Fremont County Library card may use the Interlibrary Loan Service to obtain materials not in the county collection. One-way postage will be charged for out-of-county loans.
